Rules and Regulations

Thank you for using 24/7 Removals & Storage of Lancaster. To avoid any confusion or extra charges, please take note of the following Rules and Regulations of your storage.

The associated benefits listed below only apply to students who have specifically booked our Student Storage service.

Student Storage

When you want your belongings out of storage, please email us your:

• invoice number
• name
• telephone number
• delivery address
• and date you require your delivery

Do not telephone us this information.

As we have many items in storage, we need at least 5 days notice when you require your items out.

If prior notice isn't given, a £25 fee will be payable for early release on delivery, as we will need extra staff to retrieve your items at short notice.

If you require your items out after the start of term there will be a £25 charge, unless we were informed of this on collection.

Any unclaimed items will be disposed of without notice if we do not hear from you within 12 months of the end of your contract.

Items will not be released to third parties.

Items can only be claimed by the person named on the invoice and who originally stored the items with us.

Students on campus must be present for delivery as a signature is required.

Please be available from 8am on your day of delivery. When a time is confirmed, be ready and waiting as our delivery drivers will only wait a maximum of 10 minutes. Student storage deliveries finish at 5pm.

Your belongings will be delivered to the main entrance door of your building.

If you need assistance taking your belongings to / from your room, we can help at our own discretion for an additional fee.

Food and drink is strictly prohibited from being stored with us.

If food or drink is found or suspected to be in your storage due to odour or leakage, there will be a charge of £30 which will go towards the cost of re-boxing and cleaning.

We allow customers to use their own suitcases for packaging, but we do not allow boxes other than boxes purchased from ourselves.

Free collection and delivery is to the University Campus only as advertised. Collections and deliveries outside the University of Lancaster are an extra £15.

Our free delivery and collection service is only available to customers with 15 items or less. Otherwise there is a £20 delivery fee and £20 collection fee.

DO NOT LOSE YOUR INVOICE NUMBER

Your storage is marked with your number, not your name. Without it, every item needs to be searched. This is time consuming and costly and will result in an extra charge of £20.
